Alexander Nemser is a poet, writer, and facilitator based in Los Angeles. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic Monthly, and The Paris Review, among other publications. His book The Sacrifice of Abraham, fifty wild retellings of the Isaac and Abraham story, was published in 2014. He leads workshops on authentic spirituality and creativity, and is currently training in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program. At the moment, he is celebrating the ripening of three fruits on his small satsuma mandarin tree.
